Stop! I said, yet you continued your hurtful actions

Enough! I pleaded, yet you allowed contaminating emissions

You did not heed my call

And now my tears of sorrow fall

Why, oh why is humanity so blind?

When I am here to nurture your kind

You have taken advantage and damaged

And now together we must rebuild and salvage

Tomorrow will come clean and pure

I needed a break to show you the cure

Wake up and look at each other

And finally, we will live together
